    As a corporate citizen, RIPI takes cognizance of its social responsibility to be part of the local communities within which the company operates. We undertake to contribute to the educational, cultural, economic and social development of the local communities within the company Project area.

  • The Local Community : Jakun Tribe

    Chief among the local community to benefit from our operations, is the Jakun tribe. Traditionally, the Jakun people lived by trapping fish, hunting with blowpipes and gathering fruits and vegetables. Through our operation, we have provided education, employment, training and raised up entrepreneurship among the community.

  • The Location : Kuala Rompin

    With its tropical climate and consistent weather all year round, Kuala Rompin is an ideal location for growing superior quality pineapples. Significant rainfall throughout the year (average annual rainfall of 2,968 mm).
